Robert John Quinlan

South Yorkshire, UK

My name is Robert John Quinlan. I was born on 28th August 1942. Two years ago I was inspired to write poetry and stories. My stories are about past lives, so I call myself a Past Life Reporter. Visiting places of historical significance sometimes inspires me to write about them, a somewhat different version to the official one told. Books I have written include: "The Greatest Gladiator", "Son of the Wind", "The Greatest King", "The Pied Piper of Hamlin", "Herne the Hunter", "Conisborough Castle" (The Tyrant Earl), "Robin Hood's Childhood" and one about the future (predictions) and many more.

King of Kings

Now there is a King of Kings
Yes, over all good things
Again he will come
To love all not just some

Forgive us all
Mighty, Royal and small
His crown was put on by the dead
Yes, upon his head
Free heaven and earth
He will know what they are worth

Of course his only son
Crowned in Gods kingdom
He is the one
No King, Queen or Government is above him, no none

He will be only a man
For all he will do all he can
Rid the rich of their spoil
Lift the working man of his toil
All will love the son of above
God will send him for us to love

He will not want a throne
The only one is his home
Yes where we go
Then to God we must show

I mean the Mighty and Royal
The simple people we all have to go
Then its judgement day
The almighty then will have his say
Never again will the mighty and rich gain
And give the simple people pain

Scotland

I went to Scotland for a holiday
This is what I have to say
What a fine place
All over Gods good grace

The air was clean
Everything so pure and green
It looked so well
About it I had to tell

Also the spirit of the past
My love for it will now last
So warm the people were
For us they did care

Such alot of love
Yes given from above
This will stay in my heart forever
And will not leave me never

I was touched so much inside
So much came out it would not hide
Thank you for this wonderful place on earth
Scotland I know know your worth
