GOTTA STORY?

You betcha got a story--
It's your life in all its glory,
From the first hello, to the last goodbye-
Recorded is each low and high.

Each and every joy and strife--
Is listed in your book of life,
And, depending on whether you lose or win,
Your book will be thick or thin.

Each day you'll wonder what to do,
But eventually you will follow through,
And each event will have a nook--
On the pages of your book.

Live every sentence and each word therein--
That describes each place you've been--
So that your book is not a mystery--
But a treasured living history.

GROWING OLDER

Some folks say it is a blessing,
Others say it is a distressing,
Some folks enjoy the advancing years-
While to others it brings tears,

Health and wealth seem to regulate--
Feelings of each passing date...
As do family and friends who help the cause--
Or add to annoying flaws.

If growing older is to be sublime--
You must consider the passing time,
Treat it as you would a gift to you--
And as a guiding light in all you do.

Golden memories that fill each year's page--
Greatly enhance life's advancing age,
Your life is yours to regulate--
So fill it with pleasures you appreciate.

You surely can live and enjoy your age--
If you carefully plan each passing stage,
Bank each day in time's treasure chest-
And you'll find growing older life is best.

DAILY DECISIONS

Everyday, no matter what you do--
Will be the result of decisions made by you,
Like, what time you get up in the morning or go to bed at night-
Plus, whether you travel to the left or turn to the right,
If you say yes or if you say no--
Whatever you decide is the way you'll go,
And, reading the letters you get in the mail--
Creates another decision trail,
Each daily decision made in joy or strife--
Helps form the foundation of your life.
