Richard Marrero, has been writing poetry for the last ten years. Richard is a Professional Computer Consultant. His passion in life are his family: wife Sandra, son Justin, and daughter Synde. He says, "My family provides me with the strength and determination I need every day. I write poetry to release the feelings I have inside. I write mostly of love—the strongest bond that keeps us all going. It is the emotion that embraces us and never let's us go. Many people speak of this, I am another who follows in the foot step of other believers."

Synde

As I Watch Her, I am Amazed Of The Love I feel Inside,
My Breath Is Almost taken Away Every time I Witness Her Raw Beauty, A Quick Glance,
A Funny Smile, As I Try To Put My Feelings For Her in Words, I Stumble For A Phrase
Which Will Say It All. I Believe No Words Exist to Describe My Feeling For Her, I Only
Know I Will Do Anything For Her, My Life Is Hers To Command, My Heart Is Hers To
Keep, These Words I Say With No Hesitation. This Love I Know Is True, For I Have
Created This Love From Deep Within My Soul, Many Men Have Often Said, "A Love For
Ones Daughter Is Special And True. I Know this Now, For I Live With This Reality
Everyday And I Am Thankful. This Beautiful Love Is Called Synde, My Daughter, My Love

The Only True King

From the first day my eyes saw him I knew my life was complete, the pride within
Me begged to shut out, announcing to the world the joyous love I felt inside,
Tears rolled down my face uncontrollable from the happiness I felt inside. NIne long
months came and went, eagerly I awaited to see my son, "My Son" these words hold
A new meaning to me, since the beginning of my manhood, I prayed for a son to call
My own. In life when a pray is answered, one should give the greatest thanks all of "unconditional love."
As I watch him grow, I watch myself grow as well. We share a
Bond together which will last a life time, He is the heir to my thrown, the wind in
My sails, the anchor which keeps me stable. He is MY SON - Justin
