God's Hand

Today is mirrored in tomorrow
Just as today becomes part of the past
The flight of time is so fast
Its passage leaves a tear and a sorrow

A question is ascertained
What in life is pertained
To the real and to the unreal
What indeed do the vapors steal
As they whirl and twirl
In anticipation for an image to uncurl

Is there no ending for a beginning
Is there one beginning for an ending
Might this be destined by the Creator
Who holds tomorrow in his hand.

God Speed

Tomorrow's my possession
If today is gone
And my past has been overcome
For as the twig is bent
So is my intent

Even as time laments
Life on earth becomes a fence
Between birth and eternity

My soul toward God does flee
Certainty is no suspense
As reality pays its pence
And the Breath of God - You and Me

Mastery

Truth - older then the ages
Knowledge - deeper than the depths
Wisdom - more beautiful then genesis

Music - more moving than justice
Art - more descriptive then conscience
Poetry - more expressive than life

Lingual communication of the soul
Incomprehensible grapplings of the heart
God breathed into being humanity

Essence of his Spirit
Fruit of His Love
God Empowered His Creation
