Richard A. Wall

Spring, TX, USA

I was born, lived, studied and graduated in music at the Juilliard Graduate School. After four years in the Army. I played Toscanini, Bernstein, and Kousevitsky. I studied in the Paris Conservatory and I played in the Israel Symphonic Orchestra on its first tour. I then studied with Nadlia Boulanger in Paris. I use the computer, I'm an amateur extra, and have a commercial first class Radio Telephone license. At 79, I finally retired and moved to Texas where I enjoy a peaceful and practical life with my family. I hope for the best, expect the worse, and take whatever comes.

Day From Moonbeam Day

Awake gently my love
The brassie herald
Is yet nested
With his mistress the Hen

Marriage is a stony road
Through the dark of night
Who wins? Who fails
Pray tell who is right

How dreary the mocking bird
That hops from branch to branch
No single song it's own
The weary plumage to enhance

Vite Diana graceful and wise
With this feast of Povo
I salute thee
For thy luscious prize

The Brassie Herald
Has cased it's horn
and is clucking softly
With his contented Hen

Embers 2 — Candystriper

Here is a young lady in beige
Though young is smart as sage
Were I in the running
O'boy I'd be fuming
With my fillian Page

M/V Clerk

The young clerk without hesitation
Did help the old Duffer's Registration
Would that all the world
Could follow such exemplification.

Falling Leaves

Jack is early this year
With his pallet of many colors
And like the hoppers
Have fine season to fear

When the falling leaves
Flag in winter's freeze
A persistent cold chill
Runs up my sleeves
