My husband and I have been married twenty-six years, and have three children, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. I just started writing poetry in 1996. Since then I have been blessed with several awards in addition to The National Library of Poetry. This has led to writing lyrics which were recorded last year and I am now collaborating with the recording company on two more. I truly believe I am doing exactly what God wants me to do. For reasons of His own, He is using me in the beauty of poetic expression to the glory of God.

MEMORY

The eyes and memory may fade with the years
But it's the love that we've given
And the life that we've lived
That will count in the hearts
Of those who will remember...

I CAN SEE GOD

Wherever we go... whatever we do
You can be sure that God is there too
High on the mountain tops...or down deep in the sea
I can see God looking right down at me
He's reaching down...or He's holding my hand
God whispers softly...deep within my soul
Wherever I go in this beautiful land
I can see God in the face of a child
Or the eyes of the man whose wrinkled...but wise
I can see God in the grace of a deer
And the wings of the dove... He created with care
He's gracious...He's good...He's loving and kind
He comforts the broken hearted
And opens the eyes of the blind
Yet He's strong and He's mighty
His power has no end...
He's King of Kings...The Rock of All Ages
He's The Lily of the Valley
He's Savior...and He's Friend.

I WAS THERE

I am Alpha and Omega
Said the Father to the child
I will never leave or forsake you
If in me...your heart will abide
For I knew you...every tiny little part
While you were yet in the womb
and I was there...right from the start
From the very moment you were born
I will be here...right by your side
So you need never feel any alarm
My heart is touched every time you cry
And you will understand...in the sweet by and by
So do not fret...and do not fear
For your guardian angel is very near
And if your life falls apart at the seams
Whisper the name of Jesus...and Satan must leave
You must have somehow always known
That you were never really alone
I am here to keep...protect and defend
And on me...you can always depend.
