Forced into early retirement, plus life's daily smorgasbord of untold land mines, I fostered a desperate search for survival skills: peace of mind, courage and hope, guidance, and direction. During this search, I've learned of the flood of benefits to be received by tapping my innate spiritual resource. From this activity, I've acquired knowledge, allegiance, and love and appreciation for God, my great Creator; and found a nurturing wellspring of inner strength, faith, and genuine joy. It's this "Good News" for which I'm destined to share with others, my joy and delight. The vehicle for this reviving opportunity, "Melody of Verse" Soliloquy of Faith, Hope, and Charity. I have been published by The National Library of Poetry, The Poetry Guild, and Poems of the World. Awards include: Editor's Choice Award, Election to the International Poetry Hall of Fame Museum, International Poet of Merit Award, and Outstanding Poets of 1998 (NLP). I am a member of The International Society of Poets. I am a widow, and a single parent with one (exemplary) daughter. Please E-mail me at MelodyOV@aol.com. |
Mov PraiseEach new day, I thank and praise the Lordfor my "Melody of Verse." You see, it is a part of "special preparation" for me to leave this sinful earth. He can count on me—to do my faithful part To lift a tired and weary soul, and cheer a lonely heart. The Holy Spirit is always eager—to rescue fallen man,
Please say a little prayer for my memory—

Is There Strife In Your Life?Is there strife in your life?There is strife in my life too. But listen to me friend, I've got good news for you! You see, I met this man—who is offering this "awesome" plan. Oh, don't worry about the fee, He has already paid, for you and for me Very near the city of Jerusalem—on the cross of Calvary. I am pleading with you my friend,
A job this big, you can't handle it alone;
You can call them in the morning,
