Trust Him

Many have tried the do and don't religion
Empty they be - as we can see
For one cannot work their way
To the Great God up above
A simple faith and trust
We must
The idols that bind and grind
Cannot see, walk, or talk
By grace we do walk
We will cross the finish line - right on time
We do not bend to the end
The war and battle we feel
Directed right at you and me
Tried and tested we go
As the fire gets so hot!
In a while His trumpet will blow!
As his followers well do know
Watch and pray - be ready always
We will go up this body will change
To the "marriage supper" of the Lamb
Just as he had planned before the world began
For all eternity!

Majestic Saviour

Like a shining star
down to earth our Saviour came
for all the world he loved the same
Some turned and walked away
While others knelt to pray-
Come follow me, he said-f or I am your true bread
The water I freely give, will quench your thirst-and you will know my new birth
They will mock an scourge me soon
for my cross ahead may be at noon
on the third day I will arise
you need not be surprised!
For the price I pay is for your soul to save-
Have faith in me and be brave-
I go to prepare a place for you
and will return someday-
Watch and pray along your way
For my love and peace
have come to stay.

America

As the day dawns
We sing a new song
In praise to our King!
For joy he does bring-
As freedom bells ringing
This our homeland so grand-
Just as long ago "Pilgrims" planned
To freely worship on America's shore forever more-
Let us shout as we go about.
For loving freedom each new day is what it is about
The cost was highly paid
As many "Pilgrims" gave in their trade along the way -
Under God above our nation is blessed called the good old U.S.A.!
