A GIFT OF GIVING

You're so confused why is this so? Can life be such a strain?
Your heart is pure, your fate is planned, you have so much to gain.

Your life's been blessed with many things, some love, some.
pain and sorrow
So why give up the knowledge of the fact there is tomorrow?

With all of your experience in dealing with life's problems
Why try and run and hide from life by staying at the bottom?

It's hard to elevate ourselves when we feel incomplete
But not so hard to stand alone when we get on our feet

We're fortunate that in our live we've experienced the good and bad
So why find bitterness and sorrow? Feel fortunate and glad,

Your fear of being lonely is understandable indeed
But why feel lonely, sick at heart, when there is such great need?

A need of someone just like you with compassion, truth and faith
Would be a blessing from above if you would just relate,

Relate to those less fortunate, who find it hard to cope
Your vast experience with life itself will give them back
New Hope.

Your heart will sing of happiness, of bliss, and pure content
For on that day you will thank the Lord for all the joy that
He has sent.

Rebecca

Oh my darling daughter you are so beautifully complex
Your spirit blooms with eagerness your fears are son convex,

You have been blessed with simple beauty a heart made of
pure gold
How much I pray your life will be blessed with a direct
goal.

To know what pain and sorrow means my darling child you'll find
I've taught you how to love and care I hope you do not mind,

To love and care will one day be a blessing you will see
Yet life today is hard to know just why we try to be, a
Friend to all who need our help who stand alone is sorrow
Can only mean that you will be the beginning of tomorrow

As part of that beginning my loving child I pray
With your good heart and love of God, this world won't go
astray.
