LUNCH WITH IRMGARD

You will take me on a safe train.
To my family's dear child.
Although she is older than I am,
Her innocence and love are ageless.
She was born here, and yet
She has an old-world charm about her,
And even her name, Altenbach,
Meaning "Old Brook",----
Has a great earth quality about it.

YOU ARE MY SON

Because it is truly a mother you need,
I will fill that need.
You have bounced me on your knee,
As though I were your child,
But the mother in me,
Holds you in my arms;---
And though I have no mother's milk,
Because of my age,
I will feed you with all good thoughts,---
With food, that will strengthen you,
For your rebirth, into a more positive world.

FULL MOON

Chandra, you are the Moon,--
You often change your orb, ---
But such a thrilling delight to behold,
That I must often tell you of your charm,
And unite with you in my own Astral Sign.
Taurus and Cancer,--
Can we ever be separated?

THE DIFFERENCE

You are not like any human being that I ever met,
You are unique, in that I never really know
What you are about.
You may decide after not speaking to me, for months
At a time, to hold out your hand, and lead me to pure joy.
And this unusual turn in my life,
Brings out the pure power in me.

KNIGHT HOOD

Calling you an enigma was only part of it,
For seeing you now, and knowing you
With all your masks down, and you alone standing there
Saying "I'm cold, --get me my shirt---my sweater,---
And of course, light me a cigarette, and pour
Some hot tea for your esteemed presence.
But I gave you gladly, without reservation---
What your solid flesh demands, --knowing that Knighthood
Was given to no-one like YOU!

THE ECLIPSE

Your unexpected visit had nothing to do
With your unusual relationship with me.
It was the great expansive stretch of windows
In my apartment that prompted you to call.
For you were equipped with your instruments
To witness the eclipse, that never appeared.
