A Silent Prayer

In the past who loved and cared for me?
My dearest Mom, dad, and he.
Now all of them are dead and gone.
None can fill the void that is within me.

Oh God bless them all in their grave
I pray for your mercy to make them peaceful and safe.
When they were alive I did not have to feel for anything.
All the worldly needs, pains, pangs, and distress,
Their helping and soothing hands were there to redress
Loneliness and memories of the past
Sometimes make me sick and unhappy
I try my best to reconcile to my fate and be happy.
I know the merciful god will give me courage and strength.
To face all of the ups and downs of life.
Till it is the last day of my life
