Anchors

When you are burdened with doubt, discouragement or pain
Do not fear the mighty winds or the beating of the rain
God gives us three anchors to hold us, I've tested them with care
One is faith, one is hope, the other one is daily prayer
They will hold you fast in His love till you reach the other side
In God's store house of blessings there's plenty for us to share
Just hold fast to these three anchors, faith, hope and daily prayer

Living

I want to live just as close as I possibly can
to Jesus the Saviour of man
I want to Love just the way that he loves me.
So one day with him I will be
I want to walk the way He wants me to walk
I want to praise his name whenever I talk
I want to give the way he taught me to give
So others will know it's for him I live
I don't want to miss all the things he has in store
When we reach that beautiful shore
Lord lead me and guide me each stop of the way
And hold over my spirit absolute sway
Because I want to live just as close as I possibly can
to Jesus the saviour of man.

Jesus Came

Jesus came with his arms open wide
He said, "child step right inside."
Now, I'm safe in his great love
Until I get to heaven above
Now every day and every hour
I can feel his keeping power
He put no price tag on His love
so bow your head in prayer
He will always meet you there
He's my sinful soul set free
When he died upon that tree
Oh! what Joy and what peace
When from sin I found release
Now I'll live for Him each day
His cross I'll gladly bear
And his love I'll gladly share
