The Goodbye
For Kim- When you said Goodbye,
your lips wore a smile but I'll always
remember the look in your eyes
was it sadness or pain I just can't explain!
But your courage and strength keeps me
going each day. Although you now live so far far away.
So laugh when you can my own Little Kim,
Follow your dreams don't let your eyes dim
Look out for yourself along life's pathways.
But don't always believe what others may say
And if you are sad or lonely
or in fear remember 'Old Mam' with her
listeneing ear and whn you come home
Be it early or late we'll sit here
Together and eat chips from one plate.

With memories so dear- of your pranks-
