I am a medical doctor and businessman. I was former faculty at the University of Rochester, NY. I am an avid gardener and outdoor sportsman. I have my poetry published in newspapers and many national anthologies, and by The National Library of Poetry. I am a single man with three children. I believe in after life, beauty and giving. Poetry and song writing are my closest friends in lonely days. |
My FatherI was a child, and he was a father; With all powers. On his black charger; He looked like some dragon fighter, Emerging from fathomless sea. Winged seraphs of heaven rounded my father, The hero of my sweet dreams. I remember, he tied my laces, as I wore my shoes Dancing with me to the birdies jamboree. We played frisbee and threw dodge ball; And hosed each other till we laughingly died. He taught me the laws, all those moments, And cleared my soul, to see good from bad. One day as we laughed and skipped rocks on our pond The lord called him back. He whispered in glory, some magic words; After those whispers I saw him in the morgue. You wind: You light; You crazy birds; Take my love; And bid farewell to the place of his rebirth. An (d) beg my father, meekly!!! May we, someday; Somewhere; In some other dimension; Fly side by side |
Free SoulA free soul, I'mO'er unknown sea and lands I fly. Bathing in golden waves of love, I feel; The tenderness, that lovers can only dream. A free soul I'm. On wings of joy I shall soar, An (d) hear frantic with joy; Your infinitely sweet tune, An (d) whispering echoes. I cheer my heart with your name, Until, the dawn breaks the day. Ah!!! Such flashes of brave loveliness, Without harness, I feel! In very heart of my heart. My heart beats as warmly tonight, As in days that are gone. By! My love, now I can recall, I have been here many times; Living in those clay figurines, From prime to demise. Never learned from my own and other's fault An (d) when my time came, I promised, At rebirth, and future life I'd do it right; But alas! I'm forgetting my promises on and on. Now at this glory times; I promise to forget all those woes; An (d) live the life one day at a time. |
