What Happened To His DreamsHe wandered through the dark of night,His body lacked the will to fight. What happened to his dreams, his hope? His world was crushed; he could not cope. He'd like to pray, yet hadn't for years. He wondered, "Who might even hear?" He thought, "I'm old, no nimble fawn; I'm tired and dread to face the dawn." Then Lo, a vision came to him And hope no longer seemed so dim. The vision showed a laden cross, Christ's body nailed, an aching loss. He heard the shouts, "Let's crucify", He glimpsed the Hill, he saw Christ die. He felt Christ's love, and His vast pride, Saw blood flow freely from His side. Shame overcame; he felt quite small. His life seemed not so bad at all. If Christ would die to cleanse man's soul, He too could help to pay that toll. He felt relief, free of despair, Judged, "There's no grief, too strong to bear." The joy of love engulfed his heart, He knew hereon he'd do his part. | God Sends SistersGod sends you sisters to adore,To lend a welcome ear.
