BeautyLook in my eyes, what do you see,Beauty of the inner me. Deep down in your heart, what do you feel, The beauty of a love that is real. Touch my hand soft and tender Is a beauty that makes you surrender. Listen to my words, what do you hear, Beauty flowing through the air Look around you to your left and right All you'll see is beauty tonight Kiss my lips, what do you taste A beauty that would never waste Run your hands down my body While looking into my eyes Listen to my loving words As my beauty conceals no lies | SpringThe smell of spring in the air so sweetOle mother nature is turning up the heat As the snowmen slowly melts away The kids finally get out to play Next the birds come flocking home Sunny warm skies under a deep blue dome Warm breezes rushing through my hair The sweet smell of flowers in the air Winters scorched grass sprouts vibrant green Wonderful smells and sights to be seen The trees will bud with new born life With natures ease, no pain or strife Long hours of darkness will turn to light A longer day before the twinkling of night Time to put away the winter coats Break out the shorts and dust off the boats | DowntownI saw a most distressing sightDriving down young street one night A man with all his belongings by his side No place to go, no place to reside Cold and lonely with the saddest eyes In my mind I heard his silent cries Why does this happen? Where does it lead? Men, woman and children are all in need No one to help then nowhere to sleep Making a bed from cardboard, out on the street People are dying from the winters chill Any help for the homeless, there is nil Take a drive downtown and you will see Your heart will sadden as mine did Wanting to set those poor souls free |
