Petersborough, England, UK

I have been involved with writing poetry since school magazine days. I have taken part in nine anthologies, and various single little commitments, also offered publication of as a single volume of my own, but did not know enough to undertake a whole project of that sort. Have learned an incredible amount about the craft since! I don't know why I write poetry except that this is the only art form one can do with absolutely no training. So it becomes a challenge. May I wish good luck to all readers.

Salt and Symbolism

Why do you follow me to sea?
And steer astern, as tho' you hide.
Would you keep more way on me
If you capsized and died?
I will ride the rippling tide
Make my blue, sapphire Bay.
Tho' blind regret has salt tears cried.
My sails are set ... At no delay.
