Jeffrey Coppin

Reading, Berkshire, UK

I was born 14th September 1968 in Reading. I am a student at the moment. My heroes are mainly song writers Freddie Mercury, Marc Nolan and David Bowie, whom you could say are outsiders just like me. I could not talk very well until about the age of seven and I have had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for most of my life. I would like to dedicate my two poems to the special people in my life, they will know who they are.

My Reflection

You are my reflection
You are behind me in every way
You are my reflection
And you are here to stay

You are always there
Taking in every move I make
And every turning I take
Sometimes I think I see you

I do it because of you
Because you don't owe me
I owe you so life I must do
You are my reflection

Live

You will live forever
Your a poet but don't know it
Your one and the same
So just get out there and show it

It's the party season
So live it up
Why not just do it
For no reason
Live it up

Live for love
Live for hate
Live for life
Live for your next date.

Just have fun then you have won
You will live forever
Your a poet but don't know it
Your one and the same
So just get out there and show it.
