The Rose

I offer this rose
for your lips so fine
I offer my friendship
for the sparkle in your eyes
the tears on your cheeks
like raindrops on a rose
show me more love
than words have ever shown
the fact that you listen
because I am your man
make my house a home
just because you can
and always seem happy
when I hold your hand
show me I'm a very
very lucky man.

Loving

You are a special spirit
Your radiance complete
As if you were a friend
Put here just for me
Your laughter and your teasing
Make my heart sing
The beauty of your smile
Seems to fill my mind
Times when I'm alone
Your memory feels like home
Days flow so much softer
With you in my dreams
Together lets discover
What loving really means

Together we grow...

Whenever we're together
You outshine the sun
When I need a friend to hold
Or a friendly listening ear
I always hope it's you
And it is when you're here
Together our friendship flows
Together we both seem to grow
And flower and bloom
Like friends sometimes do
I like me better
When I'm with you.
