I am a housewife who, prior to 1987, had never written anything. Then God gave me a gift for writing. Since then I've written beautiful poetry, gospel and country songs and I've had poem's published by The National Library of Poetry and also the World of Poetry. I have a Golden Poet of 1990 Certificate from the World of Poetry signed by Eddie Lou Cole. I also have a Certificate of Merit from the Famous Poets Society. Writing poetry is my contribution to the beautiful things in life. I thank God for sharing his wisdom with me, that I might share with others. |
I'll Always Have A Part of You With MeWe made some plans together, You and INow when I think about it, I just cry. You were sick, God called you home. And left me memories. I'll always have a part of you with me. I heard our song on the radio last night I closed my eyes I could feel you hold me tight Now every time they play our song I feel so safe and free I'll always have a part of you with me. I took a walk in the woods just yesterday At our favorite place I stopped along the way They caught my eye in disbelief! Our initials on a tree I'll always have a part of you with me A part of you is setting on my knee And in his face, so much of you I see You didn't get to see him grow Now our big boy is three I'll always have a part of you with me. |
Nature's OwnI awoke this morningat the break of dawn I focused a picture out on the lawn I had witnessed a moment of natures own bond A brave mother doe And her small baby fawn. |
