I have been writing poetry since 1960. I enjoy sharing and helping other writers by performing at poetry readings, seminars and group workshops, and developing a performing style. I am a recipient of seven Golden Poetry awards, three Golden Trophies, and five International Society of Poetry awards. I am a lifetime member of the International Society of Poets. On January 6, 1997, I was elected into the International Poetry Hall of Fame Museum on the Internet's world wide web. i sit on the advisory panel of the International Society of Poets, and I am a member of the Black Writers Union. I have been published in American Poetry Anthology Robert Frost, Quill Books, Volume IV and Volume V, and the Philadelphia Tribute Poet of the Month. I am a member of the HAACP and of the World Affairs Council. |
