Remember You

Remember you in all that you do.
Remember to laugh, you won't forget to cry.
Your at the conerstone of your life.
The world is your oyster, my dear.
Remember to taste the delights of life.
Remember to relish in your wonderful achievements.
Remember to give yourself some slack.
Remember the people who love you.
Don't forget to forgive, you have the scars my dear.
But they will heal.
Don't let the pain of some one's mind to tarnish you.
You have the joy's of life to relish.
You have the delights of your life to excite your tastes buds.
Your mother gave you the gift of life.
Now give your mother the gift of your happiness.
You life is relevant in all that you do.
Look in the mirror and repeat.
To thine own self be true.

New Beginnings

The dismal past is now behind me
My world has opened like a rose bud
The iridescent dew upon each delicate petal
The glimmering light a sheen of sheer delight
My taste buds anticipating the delight to be bestowed upon me
You entered my life with a robust smile
Your kindly ways are so beguile
You took me into the palm of your hand
Your gentle caress
You took away my pain
You placed me on a whirlwind of life
Feeling; touching; caring; sharing; frightening; scary;
Vulnerable; stark; sensuous; exotic and strange
A path I did not seek, nor did I want
Your steadfast will and gentle approach
A seasoned traveler. A worldly man
Your muscular strength, your powerful hands
You wrap around me like an octopus bound
Your tentacles sensitive to the world outside
You cocoon me inside your body and mind
A place of safety
You protect me from the outside world
The beads of sweat upon your brow
The passion I feel within your being
We share our thoughts our body our mind
We were two but now we are entwined
We now have a future we share with delight
We are now a bird in full flight.
