Mary has been writing poetry since her early twenties. She is a mother of three and grandmother of six. She loves reading and gardening for relaxation. She has been connected to The National Library of Poetry since 1989 and has been published in four different anthologies. She has received the Golden Poet Award twice along with several Honorable Mentions and Editors Choice Awards. Also published on cassette tape ( The Sound of Poetry), Mary says poetry is the eyes to the soul and a medicine for the mind. Her work is often referred to as an emotional look at life and its consequences. |
