Martha M. Foster began writing poetry before graduating from high school. Mrs. Foster experienced years as parent, homemaker, community volunteer and with studies at Spartanburg Methodist College, SC, University Of South Carolina-Union, Union, SC and Summer School (Division On Aging) In Gerontology, Winthop University, Rock Hill, SC. Mrs. Foster is an active church member where she serves as director with the Senior Citizen's Auxiliary. Also, written many families history, church history and communities activities. Mrs. Foster entered poetry with The National Library Of Poetry each year in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. Writing inspirational words contribute to daily life.

A Goal Accomplished

Yesterday, Christian workers layed a Foundation,
Togetherness, with Prayer, Work, Vision and Dreams.
Today, a goal has been accomplished,
We followed the path as the Sunlight Beam.
Tomorrow, we will travel the everlasting road of Life,
Shared by people who cared with Love, Joy and Loyalty.
Man achieved his work through Faith and Wisdom,
God grant a greater Goal which proceed to doors of Opportunity.
