My name is Marjorie Ann Brown James. Many just call me Margie or Marg for
short. I was born in Houston, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lee Brown, Sr.
I attended several elementary schools and Kashmere Gardens High School.
I attended Texas Southern University and received a degree in Elementary
Education. I am presently teaching in the Scheldon Independent School District
at Monahan Elementary School. I've taught seventh grade, fourth grade and
at present I am teaching third grade. I've enjoyed this rewarding experience
for twenty-seven years and it's great! I am an active member of Lakewood
Church Choir where John Osteen is my pastor. My first poem was published
by The National Library of Poetry. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories.
I plan to write many more poems and stories in the future. Writing poetry
helps me to express my thoughts in such a way that will encourage those
who have lost loved ones through sudden death that there is hope. Just
believe and trust in God and they will see their loved one in Heaven! God
loves and restores hearts full of sorrow and grief.
