TRANQUILITY

We seek tranquility in a valley of dreams,
We do search for a quiet valley it seems.
We search when clatter comes hard to bear,
Seeking quiet like the drop of one tear.

Deeply within we seek tranquility to-day,
And for a measure of quiet to come our way.
Difficult to find among the chatter abound,
Silence is beautiful if quiet can be found.

In our world silence seems to be scarce,
We may seek a place quiet as one mouse.
Highways and by-ways are so seldom quiet,
The roar of motors comes day and night.

We may hope an yearn for measures of quiet,
But sounds may blast out forever then more.
Our Doctor says blodd pressure way too high,
Caused by too much noise we say with a sigh.

MISTY CLOUD AND MISTY SEA

Misty Cloud called to blue Misty Sea,
Rise up to gather rain drops with me
Misty Sea called to driftin' Misty Cloud
To drift with you high up I'd be proud.

Misty Sea rose to join Misty Cloud,
Moist Misty Cloud came wet an' proud.
Joe Raindrop spoke to wet Raindrop Flo,
Dare you to drop down on Sea below.

Raindrop Flo splashed upon Misty Sea,
Joining pool of drops same as she.
Flo called to Raindrop Joe. I fell free
Dare you to drop down on wet Misty Sea.

Joe Raindrop splashed down on Misty Sea,
That's how rainfall comes down so free.
To drop on pleasant land or the Misty Sea,
Livin' things grow when rain falls free.

IN AVALON LIVED HITHER AN YON

Hither an 'Yon lived in mystic Land o'Avalon,
Pretty lady Hither sought a handsome Don.
Yon was a guy who was in love with Hither,
When he was near Hither he was in a dither.

Love an' romance thrived in Land Avalon,
But not for Hither and guy named Yon.
Hither thought Yon was a village clod,
Yon hoped Hither would give a friendly nod.

Time goes but Hither was not fond of Yon,
Love was only half-bloom in Land Avalon.
Yon tried many ways to mend clumsy ways,
He read romance books for days and days.

Learned about sweet words an' pretty flowers,
Just how an when to seek loves lofty powers.
So love came to Hither and a guy named Yon,
And they loved together forever in Avalon
