I am ecstatic to be chosen for this Internet project and the International Poetry Hall of Fame. I'll work toward publishing my book. Married with children -- four daughters and a son. I work as a Security Receptionist for a large company. I am a Professional Manicurist. I attend church regularly. Graduate. Started writing one and a half years ago. My poetic ability came as a surprise to me. I came from a large family -- 7 sisters and four brothers. Happy to be a part of this program. Born Mabel Elizabeth Jones to parents: Roy and Grethal Jones, August 17 - a very good year. |
Expectations to GoalExpectations, set them. high. Start reaching for your
goals before Junior high. Expectations, we all need them. Lots of motivation
will help you achieve them. Study hard, read everything at hand. Don't
let your guard down, professionals are in demand. Expectations, goals are
one of the same. Work hard toward them, it's your claim to fame. As you
climb the ladder of success, reach back, give some motivation to the rest.
Youngsters all need a great deal of motivation instilled in them. They'll
work hard at the rest. What? Who? we want to be, takes a great deal of
hard work. Striding is surviving. Working toward your expectations, setting
your goals to the limit will give you a great deal of pride. Reaching your
goals, knowing how hard you've tried. You won't forget how hard it was
reaching for your success. You've succeeded. Sticktoitiveness is what's
needed. Your ability will do the rest. Expectations to Goal! |
My Dearest SpouseThe days are so long, the nights are so strong. Dinners are very much enjoyed. We attend plays and ballets that stimulate our minds. My Dearest and I enjoy each other. Discuss topics and draw knowledge from one another. Spring and summer we vacation in the Tropics, My Dearest and I listen to music, we love all kinds. It leaves us with romantic feelings we don't dare draw the line. We love the company of each other, our conversations draw us closer with great constellation. We've known each other all of our lives but there's a lot yet in disguise. My Dearest and I are still learning each other. The concept of this poem you never really know all there is to know about each other. My Dearest Spouse. |
Dedicated to My Mother of Six Generations and GrowingIt's your birthday again, rejoice and be glad. Your family
is here to cheer you, to celebrate your birthday. Smile, embrace your day.
We are all alive for a reason. Mother. God gives us our birthday
as many as He has in store. Your sons and daughters are presenting to you
your fifth and sixth generation. Mother. Mothers give us endless
love. There's miles of tribulation. Mother. Our greatest rewards
we don't realize. But as we grow in knowledge, we begin to acknowledge
our foundation began with our Mother. Mother. Our Mother's most
blessed contribution to this life is her sons and daughters she gave birth
to. That fifth and sixth generation gave praise and salute our dedicated
mother, too. Mother. |
