Lynn enjoys writing poetry in her spare time. She is employed at Clark-Schwebel located in Washington, Georgia. She is an active member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church in Lincolnton and likes reading Christian books. Lynn is a Distinguished Member of The International Society of Poets and has had her poetry published by The National Library of Poetry. She has also been the recipient of the Editor's Choice Award. She is writing more poems and plans in the future to have her own book of poetry. Lynn says, "It is my desire to brighten other lives through my writing."

My God

My God is one in whom I trust
He's the only God for all of us
When we need help, He's always there
He knows our need and every care
I love my God and He loves me
It is by His light that I may see
So when trials and troubles come my way
I know my God will save the day.

Blessings

When I receive blessings from above,
It reminds me how great is my Father's love.

He gives me strength when I am weak.
I place all my cares at my Father's feet.

He gave me friends who I love so dear.
They bring me happiness and lots of cheer.

He gave me treasures along life's way.
It touches me more than words can say.

He sends me His love from up above
And gave me a church family who I dearly love.

Just try Him out and you will see.
There is no greater love than Thee.
