Philosophy:
It is my belief that each individual should strive for excellence. That we as caring people respect the worth of individuals. We must encourage all to pursue their dreams and to build their talents. Most important is to live a kind and thoughtful life. Perhaps, in time, one's kindness may in some small way brighten the life of a fellow man.

TODAY IS A DAY OF HEALING

Yesterday, a bird outside my window could not fly
Today, the bird tried again, and flew high into the sky
Perhaps time is one of life's miracles
Time seems to help those who preserve and care.

Today I saw a world of beauty, and a heart of feeling
A fragrance in the air, today is a day of healing
I sighed, as a white cloud floated by so bold
Shall I help someone in, out of the cold?

Yesteryear, my world was lying covered with snow
Today the sun will shine, and fill my world with glow
Should I call a friend, that is feeling low?
Today is a day of healing, I just know.

I KNOW THAT YOU ARE REAL

Well, I have never seen you, perhaps the time will never arrive, that we
shall meet. But, I know that you are real, I can feel the warmth of your
heart pass over my face, as I look toward the sun.

I want to do one part in the play with you, but they tell me that you are
only a fantasy. They say that you are not real

Then I hear your voice, and I knew that you are real. You are as real as
the rain that falls. I know that you are as real as the dew on the rose.
Then I look around, and you are not there. A tear falls 'cause I know the
play will soon end. The actors are preparing for the final act. Will you
step forward and do one scene with me? Or, will you break my heart, and
we will forever be apart...

TO KNOW THAT YOU REMEMBER

It will be good to know that you remember
When you place flowers on my grave in December

I may not be there, for you see, then I will be free
Like the wind that blows in the tall pine trees

Like an eagle soaring over the mountain tops high
Or like a bird conspiring to fly

Perhaps I will be living in a mansion be on the sky
I will know that you came and the flowers will tell me why

LOVE PASSED MY WAY

Once love passed my way I wondered if love would stay We knew that our love was not wrong But like a rainbow, soon you were gone Now my life will never be the same The memories of you still remain Maybe love will pass my way again My heart will tell me when.

MODERN MAN

Looking into the face of a modern man. I asked him why he was sad?
You fly planes and run trains, modern man has landed on the moon and
has even walked in space.
Modern man, you have accomplished much in your time.
Then the man from earth said, I see you don't understand what is important
in life of the modern man. Tomorrow I may be called to fight in a war.
Today, I don't know where I came from or why that I am here, I don't
know where I am going.
When modern man is gone, who will come to replace the modern man?
Then I sat down and wept for the sadness in the life of a modern man.
