God's Eyes

God must have the saddest eyes
Because we His children are full of lies
We cheat, we steal
And disregard God's will
We are materialistic and greedy
And do not do enough to help the needy
We are lusty
And never hesitate to view pornography
Our sins are myriad
As many as the grapes in God's vineyard
God must have the saddest eyes
Because we His children cannot enter Paradise.

Cupid's Arrow

Oh such limpid eyes
That stare at the skies
In utter wonder
How I ponder
What lies behind
Your agile mind
Is it of the moon that you dream
Ever curious of its beam?
I wish someday
That I may
Give to thee the moon itself
So I can keep thee to myself
Ye that captivates my heart
May Cupid's arrow dart
To pierce your heart
So I may be loved
As much as I thee love.

Spring Of Joy

I gaze upon thy beauty in the quiet light
A perfect creature of delight
Who holds my heart within his palm
His kisses warm like soothing balm
It stirs a spring of joy within my soul
'Tis how Eden must have been before the fall
