HaikuGospel principlesGiven true priority Gain eternal life. Embrace Charity; Blessings follow those who give Of service and love. Be kind to your friends; Neither is their task easy. All await good will. Life is a river; And until God calls a halt Wickedness will flow. | FruitionYesterday is a history,A faded path where seeds were sewn. Today, we harvest. Dreams emerge; results are shown. Tomorrow promises opportunity With reach unknown. | Nation Appreciation PrayerFor Hills and streams and valleysFor mountains, meadows, trees For wilderness, for beauty Thank you, Dear Lord, for these. For this great country, blessed beyond All cultures of this sphere For freedom unknown in other lands That we are granted here. We thank you for The Bill of Rights Declaration of Independence, Forefathers who gave their all Our flag of great resplendence. On this special day we celebrate The divine inspiration You gave those worthy men, Dear Lord; We thank you for our nation. | IntermezzoNo other timeAre leaves so colorful As breezes threaten their demise. Yellow pumpkins signal, Grapes of blue, Herald harvest time. Patient Chrysanthemums Flaunt reddish hues, Boast of gold through browns. Gentian violets, detesting extremes, Welcome Autumn, Submit to terms. Reluctantly yielding petals, Fragnant roses linger on. Between heat of summer And threat of cold Is a pleasant interlude. |
