Lincoln Park, Michigan

I am a resident of Lincoln Park, Michigan. English and the languages have always been of great interest to me. I started writing poetry as a teen to escape the pressures of teenage life. I am the youngest in a family of seven. I am trained in child care and business. I am also a romance novelist. One of my stories, entitled, "His Fantasy of Leslie", is in the process of being published now. I write my poems and stories from two fascinating, enigmatic places.

Forever And A Day

Forever in love with
you I'll stay, even
though you're a mil-
lion miles away.
Mind, body and soul,
a part of mine you'll
always be. You're
the never ending beacon
in my never ending
reverie. Your eyes
I'll always remember,
their gaze melted and
bonded you to me. Your
Your smile will forever
be cherished, the light
of our ecstasy. Forever
in love with you I'll
stay, though darkness
began when you went away.
But, the love we shared
will stay,...remaining
with me, forever and
a day.

I Wonder My Love

I wonder when you'll
ever find me, my love.
I've dreamed of you
over the years. And I
often wonder, my love,
are you really real.
You don't even know it,
and I don't even know
you. But my everyday is
filled with tears, lasting
through the years.
I cry out from loneli-
ness and I wonder if
you know that someone is
waiting, night dictating,
endless love just for you.
I wonder my love does emp-
tiness title your life as
it does mine. I wonder my
love, I wonder. I'm clos-
ing my eyes now, it's late,
see you in my dreams.
Still, I wonder my love, I
wonder, ...Goodnight.

Home

Silently I wander
these cruel streets
alone. I long diligently
to go home.
I don't know
what or even where
it can be. All I
know is that a pre-
conceived notion is
sending me, to a
quaint, beautiful
little house filled
with love. Inside
it, a handsome guy
awaits my arrival,
heaven sent from
above. When I get
there he'll never
want me to leave.
And he'll cater to
my every wish and
satisfy my every
need. Forgive me
for being so sel-
fish and naive.
But, I've decided
that he's my home,
...I'll never leave.
