Greetings. My name is Lela Pendergrass. I'm a born again Christian. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I have been writing poetry for several years I am a factory worker. The Lord has entrusted me with a radio program "Taste God's Goodness" on LeSea Broadcasting shortwave radio, to help prepare souls for Jesus soon return. I have had my poetry published in our local newspaper and by The National Library of Poetry.My poetry is an inspiration from God. I write to encourage people to have a desire to live and not die, pointing them to Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I write to encourage hope, joy, and peace for everyday living through the word of God by faith.Jesus has blessed me. His merciful loving kindness with protection has smoothed out the rough roads in my life. Gratitude is my sentiment forever.Jesus will do the same thing for you. Trust and believe. |

Reasons For KneelingWhen I think of this worldAll it's heartaches and pains Sometimes battles and often rains Are reasons for kneeling And thank God for living When I think of this world All it's beauty and wonder Sometimes sun light and clear blue water Are reasons for kneeling And thank God for livng When I think of this world All God's love poured inside His glorious mercy that never resides Are reasons for kneeling And thank God for living Because in living there is learning In learning there is earning In earning there is giving In giving there is living Which is a good reason for kneeling | It's A Beautiful DaySmile, today is a beautiful day.There are flowers in bloom, Love is renewed, And hope for tomorrow. When the sky is blue, rejoice. When the clouds appear, Shout even louder, Because the clouds are Gods' chariot And He walks upon the wings of the wind. God knows where we are in life, He knows what we need, And He promised to supply our every need. So relax, trust God, live for Jesus. Accept Jesus in your heart. Jesus came to set us free. Jesus loves us. Smile. It's a beautiful day. | A Heart For God's WordMy heart beats for the living Word of God.My heart skips for His love. Oh! He loves me and I love him He died for me. Through His blood I am free. I have received the Word of God. It is mine. No one can take from me what God gave freely. The word is enlarged in my heart. By faith I have received it. The Word in is -Jesus! |
