Although my love for poetry began in early childhood, I started writing poems after I found a poetry book I gave my mother many years ago.  It was then that I realized how much it influences my life. Poetry is a hideaway where hidden emotions will be poured out when no human being can actually reach out. I focus on my relationship with God, with people, and other experiences.  I'm an active member of the Methodist Church in Norwalk. I love to sing and play classical music in the piano. I'm also a Licensed Vocational Nurse caring for elderly.

Something Extraordinary

It was a hot summer night
In a quiet moonlight
I spoke to God Almighty
During my short journey.
In stillness of the wind
While the storm unveiled,
In the sky came lightning
Suddenly flashing.
Out in the twilight
Caught by my eyesight,
It flashed once, only once
'Twas a heaven sent response.

A Masterpiece

Ah, beautiful art which catches the eyes
Of those who glimpse, to those who praise
Of finest touch done with skills
To a perfect art made so real
And given the best by the one who claim
A masterpiece of the maker's name.

My "Turbo"

I placed my hand to little Turbo
Watching my eyes while I say "hello"
Stretching its feet, trying to grip
Held by my palm, this baby rabbit.

I love my Turbo given as a gift
Doesn't do anything but sniff
And waits for my call, "my Turbo"
Then runs to the hole like a torpedo.
