Lawrence has been writing poetry since an early age. He is a licensed equine dental technician at Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky. He enjoys writing songs, poems, drawing and working with good. Lawrence is presently trying his hand in songwriting, hoping to hear one on the radio someday. He has received numerous poetry and amateur songwriting awards, and has had various poems published, with eight songs demoed through various channels. Lawrence would someday like to write lyrics for a prominent person or company.

It's Party Time

I've got the evening free...it's party time.
I'm kickin' it up with these friends of mine.
Alone at home can drive you out of your mind.
And ain't where it's at when it's party time.
We're cuttin' it loose...from out of the blues.
Where being with you...feels so fine.
Where dancin' boots...a drink or two.
And everybody here knows...it's party time.
So kick it on up...it's dancin' time.
