I have been writing poetry since I was a teen. I've had my poetry published by The National Library of Poetry. I am taking a freelance writers' course through I.C.S. and I will have my diploma within the next year. I work part-time for Dr. Fred Fricke, as a gastroentologist technician. I take care of all the scopes used in procedures. I have been married to my husband Guy for thirteen years and we have two sons. Writing poetry lets my mind soar. Everything I'm feeling at the moment I begin to write can be put free in words. On a special note, I write many poems in memory of my father Ken. |
A Whispered Word!If ever a word was whispered to meIt would be of love and laughter you see Of friendships here and faraway The mark of light, a brand new day The pains and sorrows Of all forgotten tomorrows Have left my heart in the ravens borough Sunny days, from rainy haze My heart is filled with a brand new blaze A word was whispered to me you see It spoke of life, friendships and family A word was whispered to me you see The word it spoke was for me to be me A word was whispered to me you see The word it spoke, eternity |
My Angel! When the word first appearedWe all had our doubts You were brave and unshaken
We all stood our ground
By the devil be damn
The first six months
But the last four months
The end was coming
You gave a good fight
We knew God was ready
In the end it was quiet
We all have our purpose
I know you're in heaven
My guarding angel

My Love!To look in your eyes the glow I seeMy heart skips a beat and brings me to my knees Your soul is my mirror that I look upon It tells me all truth and our love, beyond Your arms my strength your hands hold me tight When I look to you the world is my sight Our days filled with love our nights of passion I whisper to you my love, my husband |
