I don't need to tell all of you just how in orbit I am, due to the fact that I have been elected into the International Poetry Hall of Fame. I have been writing poetry "In Earnest" for five years. I have been published in several Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum anthology publications. I have been published in several National Library of Poetry anthologies. I was published once (the one time I submitted a poem to them) by Arcadia Poetry Press, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I sculpt whenever I have time to do so. "They" say that I am an artist. I do not completely concur. But I will say that I do a rather good job when I do abstract and surrealist. I prefer those two art forms. No realism, except maybe occasionally. "First of all, I proudly state that Jesus Christ, my Lord and saviour is the one and only person or possession that I cannot, and will not give up. The next thing I must not fail to state is that I love everyone on the face of this planet earth, regardless of the hue of their skin. Jesus loves everyone of us...the same, friend, and he told us to do the same. How dare I depart from that directive. In closing....food feeds the hungry body. Poetry feeds the immortal soul."

Kittens

Tiny white clouds
Spring's frisky kittens
Scampering
Across the blue velvet rug
Of an April Sky.

Barbaric Barber

Icy October Wind
...Invisible scissors
Cruelly clipping loose
The lovely auburn tresses
Of tiny maple tree.

Shadows

Mute...black echoes
Weightless carbon copies
...of all creation
Courtesy of sun and moon
Shadows...shadows

Guardian

Spider Web
...Lacy silver shawl
....Guarding pink innocence
....Of tiny rosebud
....Bedecked in diamonds of dew

Lawn Mower

Giant...earthbound
Metal bumblebee
Gorging on green grass
And on an occasional
Green water hose!

Before Winter

September leaf
Blushing...
Remembering...
The torrid kisses
...Of July
September leaf
Sensing winter
....And oblivion
Shivers...
And whispers
"July, my only love" "Say you remember."
