Katleen D. Delgardo

Revire, MA, USA

I was raised in North Carolina with my three sisters, Libby, Carol and Pat. One Brother Curtis. My parents Thelma and Charles. I've always wrote some kind of songs or poetry. I never really considered myself a poet. But if you do that's great. I have CD's in stores, a music video ''Bride of Frankenstein''. And I've done three movies with Sylvester Stallone ''Over the Top'', ''Lock Up" and "Rocky V." Thank you for this honor ''You're Great People!'' I guess I have always said ''I'm poet and don't know it, make a rhyme everytime''.

Don't Ask Me to Forget

I grew up with kiss and Led Zeplin
When Elvis was the king
And nobody owned a gun
We were fighting for world peace
Equality for one
Now we're fighting amongst ourselves
Why can't we all just get along.
Now you ask me to forget
I can't forget
The war gone by
The soldier's died
The baby's cry
The people's sigh
Jesus Christ
The sacrifice
The Kennedy's
Martin Luther King
Cause I had a dream
So don't ask me to forget
