Karen has been a writer, poet, producer, and a speaker most of her life. In 1939, she was one of six accepted of 360 Auditions at the Chekhov Theatre Studio, Conn. In the 1940's, she published a book of essays & poems Arise & Shine. In the 1950's, she wrote script, composed music / Lyrics for Musical - 26 numbers - 5 called sure hits by top producers in Broadway & Hollywood. In the 1960's, she was a producer and singer in Harmony Hill Showcase, Phoenix. Karen created Harmony Hill Life Center, gave "Talks on Life"; and shared after overcoming terminal illness "naturally". The National Library of Poetry has published in four anthologies, one in Best Poems of the 90's. She is a Distinguished Member of The International Society of Poets. Karen has a son, a daughter, and six grandchildren. |
