What Of Me

What Jesus looked out to Israel,
so saddened by their hardened souls,
that he wanted so much to win...
When Jesus saw the woman,
standing by the well,
He saw a person needing Him,
and saved her soul from hell..
When Jesus died upon the cross,
He, in excruciating pain,
while being chided and laughed at,
prayed their sin not remain...
I ask myself what Jesus feels,
when He looks at me,
The times I'm like a Pharisee,
or the disciples, in fear to flee...
I want all pretense gone,
thankful for my Savior's grace,
to hear the words, "Well done my child",
when I see Jesus face.

Martin Luther King

"I have a dream".
said Martin Luther King,.
the sound of those words,
historically ring.

His exiled soul mourned,.
the Negroes rightful dream,
where all are created by God,
and equal justice is seen.

My Friends

Christine is my friend,
pleasant to be sure,
her breath drives me crazy though,
needs some, "Breath Assure".

Patrick was my friend,
a real nice guy to me,
until the day I gave him,
some deodorant, "Degree".

My friend Mike is cool,
with a laid-back kind of charm,
a little low on the brain cells,
not enough to cause alarm.

I invited all my friends,
to party at my new home,
I still can't figure out why,
I ended up being alone.
