Born in Philadelphia, I moved to Atlanta where I studied x-ray technology; worked there for three years and then returned North. My poetry began while I was in therapy. I came up with a new poem every week. Ever since, on special days like birthday's or Mom's day, I compose as I write and send the original (no copies kept).

Remembering Vietnam

Today I remember
someone I met;
Back in October
We were a sure bet.
But time would not allow
Us to become one
You see he was an Army fellow
I gave him a son.
The memories he gave me
I shall always treasure
It's just a matter of time
We will be together, I'm sure.
