Where Love Must Go

Children come naturally if we let 'em,
As in a secure marriage bond we get 'em.
So don't forego this joy
In exchange for a toy,
But love them and on a straight course set 'em.

Love

Most offered love has strings attached to it,
So that the loving one can gain something thru it.
But genuine love
Comes only from above,
Thru a clean heart thus prepared to do it.

Opportunity

Mrs. Whale delivers her calf in the sea.
No other facility can adequate be.
Fame and fortune will arise
To the one who can devise
A way to domesticate and milk this cow for me.

To Mom On My Birthday

Mom, I don't remember but you do.
After nine months and much ado
A climax was reached.
A squaller screeched,
And thus began the loving care only you knew.

Humility

A lady greatly admired wherever she goes
When flattered by a man she knows,
Responded, "I know now
That feeling exactly how
The pancake gets when over it the syrup flows".

Bureaucrats

A politician emits a constant stream of hot air,
As he orates long with his polished flair.
But this bloated Phony
Is filled with baloney,
Because his solutions resemble a poisoned eclair.

Leadership

There once was a lady from Cork
Who knew how to use a knife and fork.
So polite she became
That this proper dame
Molded society from Maine to New York.

Solution Needed

That women are different men were made to see.
Not better, not worse, but functional as can be.
We love them so much,
But how to deal with such
Will forever remain a very great mystery.
