REACH OUTReach out and touch my hand.I'm lonely and need a friend. Be someone I can trust-- Stand beside me till the end. Reach out and touch my hand, Please, reach out, my friend, to me. Through understanding love Tis a better world we'll see. Look beyond outward signs-- Seek to find the inner me. Help me share what I am. Let trust be the magic key. The mask I show the world Is not real --it is a lie! Underneath, I'm human! I love and hate--laugh and cry. Understand my silence. Hear the unsaid words, my friend Share with me those feelings That world can't understand. Be gentle, friend; be kind, And show that you truly care. Accept me as I am Just say that you will be there. Reach out, reach out, my friend. And fear not to touch my hand. Dare to show that you care, And can love me as I am. Reach out and touch my hand, Please, reach out, my friend, to me. Through understanding love Tis a better world we'll see. |
