Jenny began writing poetry as a young adult after her dad passed away. She discovered that by putting her feelings on paper, she could express the intense loss she was experiencing. An incurable romantic, she loves writing about lost youth, love and loss. She is easily inspired. She says "I'm not sure it's a talent, it's simply feeling something and being able to work the words on paper - so they flow." A collage designer of T-shirts also, Jenny says "sharing my creativity with others has enhanced my life. Knowing my words have moved another is a great feeling." |
Two Who LoveLove always a magical mystery - a joyous journey between twoJoined today to say "I Do". My dear friends - two whose love has reached a time - to say it's ours; not yours or mine. From a time of innocence, I've known you both - and today proud to witness the oath - Of your beautiful love that bloomed when young - Yet, still truly a love that has only begun. A daisy nurtured that blossomed into a rose - permanently in a garden grows. As today two become one - and as you each walk separately but together - in the sun Joined in harmony - holding triumphantly each others hands, gloriously to withstand - A life of love, sharing, trust and visions for the future unknown - to know you'll never walk alone. I am blessed in sharing this glorious moment - and for being a part of both your hearts. For yesterday, today and tomorrow. |
Age Vs YouthAge is where youth thinks they'll never be -Youth is concerned with "beauty and me" Age holds onto precious hours Youth is the blooming flower Age appreciates the smallest joy Youth flirts as a child with a toy Age can wisdom to the youth bring Youth thinks they know everything. Age is a marathon hopefully well run Youth is a fantasy - primarily for fun Age has regrets Youth doesn't know what that means - yet. Age can bring security Youth often inferiority Age is what you have become Youth has a long way til they become someone Age thinks smart Youth feels heart Age to many is a state of mind Youth is exploring - trying to find. Age is memories of bronze and gold Youth is experiences waiting to unfold. Age is where you go when youth says goodbye Youth can only question why! |
