Jennifer W. K. Uzele

Machakos, Kenya, East Africa

I was born 12 July 1957 in Nairobi. I am a part-time housewife and mother of a handsome son, Avonj Uzele (10 years old). I am a musician, songwriter and composer. My husband is Lamech Uzele. We have been married for 11 years. We enjoy working, helping and teaching the less fortunate--mainly youth to get their lives back together through spiritual counsel. Africa has talent but the road to recognition is hard to come by due to barriers like tribalism, discrimination and political structures. Hard work, perseverance, dedication and love for God and my son won me this great victory. In the beginning. . . "GOD."

Thank You Baby For Teaching Me To Trust; To Rest:

I am so old I want to marry
I go to school quickly to become teen
I came back home running I am a child
I cry father yippee no responsibility
I am cradled and now in your arms at last
I now understand to trust in GOD.
