I was born in Taiwan in 1970 and was adopted into an American Doctor's
family. I came out of a family of seven. My oldest brother Tim and his
wife Sarah are Doctors and they have a little son, Matthew. My second oldest
sister which I call Big Sister Jenlee and her husband Mike have Faith,
Jonathan and Benjamin. Also my oldest brother Mark and his wife have a
little son, Isaac and they live in Salem. I live with my Mom and Dad (Virgil
and Jennie). I also have a twin named Dawna. As a little girl, I was always
writing a lot. I was always in my own little dream world. I got best handwriting
awards. My 4th grade teacher Mrs. Piatz saw all of my poetry and liked
it. She said I could do this as a career. Later, behold I have had 12 poems
published plus more. I plan on being a professional writer someday. My
pen name is J. L. (that's all). My dream is to fulfill my poetry writing.
I have 1 manuscript done and am working on a second one. Hopefully, I will
get the published someday. I do have 3 years of Bible college and I majored
in Youth Ministry. But I do plan to do some more schooling eventually.
