Zanesville, Ohio

I've been writing poems as long as I can remember. This seems to be an easy way for me to put into words what is coming from deep inside. I enjoy all the arts and have a great sense of humor. Somehow I always imagined myself in the entertainment field. It gives me a High when people enjoy my poems and I also love to laugh and make people laugh. I am a believer in Animal Rights and love hiking and the mountains. They say, "If you really want something bad enough, you can achieve it." I Know I Will!!!!

Josh

He was a part of our family for seventeen years
Had the most beautiful face, framed by black fluffy ears.
When he looked at you with those deep brown eyes
He could send your spirit soaring, high into the skies.
He went everywhere we went, even slept in our bed,
What a peaceful, warm feeling when he snuggled up close to your head.
We called him our baby, he gave us so much love, so much joy
Our dog, man's best friend, he was a very good boy.
He was loved, he was spoiled, we tried to give him the best
I know there's a DOGGIE heaven, where he's peacefully at rest.

Friends

As the years go by, and time goes on
many faces come and go.
And in our hearts there is a place a
few will come to know.
We may not see or talk to them for days,
or months, or years;
But the feeling is there, you've shared their
laughter and yes, you've felt their tears.
For friends you see are a special gift that
is given the whole year through.
And once you receive one, they will always
remain a very special part of you.
