A Native of the Spa, Aqeel's poems have been published in local newspapers and in The International Society of Poets. A Muslim Minister, he is a member of the Garland County Interfaith Council and Military Chaplain Association. He is an Honorably Retired Disabled American Veteran for the United States Air Force, June 5, 1967. He holds diplomas from the Paralegal Professional School of Atlanta, Georgia and The United States Academy of Private Investigation of Beverly Hills, CA and he has a degree in Biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, 1962. Although USAF (Retired), he is a Notary Public, Bookkeeper, Poet, Inventor, Paralegal, and Muslim Minister. He believes that if you "get educated to a tee, opportunities will come." |
