Wash State Weather

Young salmon flee to the sea
To broar the monotony!
There, when they leap high,
They can feel dry,
At, least momentarily!

What's the real reason
It's always the dry season
When salmon leap up Mr. Rainiest?
From the gills of the brainiest,
"The heavy rain in season is a leap less reason!"

In Death Valley, the sun shines a lot
And it's dry and hot -
But, in Wash State,
It's sad to relate,
Salmon can drown when the leap a lot!

Sometimes, when salmon leap,
They freeze their (BEEP!)
But, with a butterfly net,
You're all set
To reap a heap!

Owl House Blues

The spotted owl
Let out a howl!
(Being a Howl Owl
Not a Hoot Owl)
"I'm being treated most fowl!

"Bunyan Bobs
Worry about jobs,
While baby owls
Tote teary towels
From homeless sobs!

"They don't give a hoot
When we have a scoot!
We catch their mice
And treat them nice,
And, we get the boot!"

"They call Us a thief,
Never mind our grief!
We'll be out
In a treeless rout
And maybe called chief!

Sin Sniffers

A wondrous organ is the nose;
Great for smelling the rose.
But, some do differ,
Being a sin sniffer!
So, be on your toes!

One, with such a nose,
Before a mirror did pose.
His nose did grow,
Then glow with a golden glow!
So, now you know, the nose knows!

When these noses die
They must hie to the sky!
O nosey noses, so bright!
How you make the sky so light!
Glory! to your panoply on high!

Absolute Zero To Absolute All

Before Time, Even Before, Before
T'was a very cold yore!
For all was absolute zero!
Yet, the zero was the hero!
Creating free electron gas for evermore!

Once the first atom was born,
All became a cosmic popcorn!
With all matter aligning in the nuclear row -
That will forever grow!
From the zero Cornucopia of electron seed corn!
