Angels Never KnowAngels never knowthe thrills there are in loving, or how sweet a kiss can be! Angels never know how sweet life can be, or walk hand in hand with a lover talking their way! Angels never know how a surging heart filled with compassion for the world throbs! But neither do I, and an angel I've never been. |
I've CruisedI've cruised with lovesince I was born, but never completely claimed by any special one. I've cruised with her splendor and trembled beneath her touch, yet...deep...within my mind it seemed never to be enough. I've cruised with her frowns, each time she turned me down, yet...deep...inside me, even after I picked myself up, the pains of her leaving were never enough. I've cruised with the fools of needing her, and cried with the agonies of having her near, yet...deep...within the presence of her was never enough. |
For Fruits And Fruit LoversLike an orangeriding from the farm... I have no face...I have no arms. Arms to hold the world, I've lived in so long, and haven't held a thing that hasn't been held before, and discarded. Like an orange that has been tossed aside... I ride like a gypsy through the country side of countries....in search of my own, but find that I've seen everything before, only now, it makes no sense... |
